A feature of BNI membership is that each Chapter only allows one member to represent one key category. i.e. We only have one accountant, one financial adviser, one insurance representative etc. in our membership.

Thus, by being a member, you:

lock out your competitors; and
have all the members looking out for business for you.

BNI can work for any business. The concept is 'Giver's Gain: If I give you business, you'll want to give me business' - or to use the English notation: 'The more you put in, the more you get out.'
